Surf, Shore & Coastal Landscapes
This three day workshop will concentrate on subjects found along the coastal landscapes in and around Crescent City, including ocean cliffs, rocky beaches, wind blown trees, churning surf, boats, and reflections. We will draw on location (weather permitting) and then take our drawings to the studio to compose and complete our watercolor paintings. Large-brush, spontaneous, expressionistic painting will be encouraged. A complete demonstration will be conducted each day which will include drawing, composition and exciting watercolor techniques. A constructive learning critique will be given at the end of each day. Sylvia works easily with beginning students and encourages more advanced students to reach their own goals.
CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED to ensure personal attention. Sign up early!
